I love this song. I love this song a lot. I love everything about it. The hair. The look. The sound. The feeling it gives me. It reminds me of my 6th grade boyfriend. It reminds me of Esprit clothes and Aquanet hairspray.
And that's about it. I heard it today. Out of nowhere. And I loved it.

I am having a happy, sad, melancholy, weirdly, funny reaction to your post. I get it in a slightly different way from you since this reminds me of being a bit older. When I hear this I then move to Tears for Fears and the show I saw In Lethbridge, Alberta Canada during the summer I worked at a resort in Glacier Nat'l park. All the songs of this era are so tied together and bring back such strong feelings and memories.... phew.
I think that we have a sorta neat connection and i love the memories your posts dredge up!
